The C.O.C.O. is located about 28 miles SE of Hilo and 8 miles from Pahoa.

From Hilo, follow Rt 11 to Keaau. At the first stop light after leaving Hilo, turn left on Rt 130 toward Pahoa. About a mile beyond the turn-off for Pahoa Village, turn left at the stop light, on to Rt 132 toward Kapoho. Keep to the left, passing the turn-off for Pohoiki. About 7-8 miles from the stoplight, Rt 132 ends at a three-way stop. Turn left, follow the paved road for 1.2 miles, turning left again onto Papaya Farms Rd, a dirt road just before the end of pavement. The C.O.C.O. is the 5th driveway on the right.
